Puerta Abierta Preschool is an early childhood education Spanish immersion program in the Chicagoland area.
Our school is designed to encourage bilingual language development and multiculturalism through a play-based curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. We have a commitment to community involvement across cultures.
Instruction is totally in Spanish, and the student body is comprised of a mix of native Spanish and English speakers, as well as children from mixed families. These emergent bilingual children work together to acquire or better develop Spanish at an early age.
